Residential lawn and palms with a WaterCare irrigation zone running

Residential Irrigation Installation & Repair Services

Whole-system diagnostics for Florida lawns, from installation to repair.

An irrigation system does most of the work to keep your lawn and landscaping healthy. When it's working properly, everything stays green and evenly watered without wasting water. When it isn't, the problems appear quickly - dry spots, oversaturated areas, sprinklers that won't run, or a water bill that suddenly spikes.

For more than 35 years, WaterCare has served homeowners across Northeast Florida by installing new irrigation systems, repairing existing sprinkler systems, and diagnosing irrigation problems. Whether your property uses city water or an irrigation well, our technicians understand how these systems perform in Florida conditions.

Irrigation Installation & System Upgrades

Whether you're building a brand-new system or upgrading an outdated one, we design and install complete irrigation systems for durability, water efficiency, and even coverage. We don't just drop in equipment - we evaluate your property layout, soil conditions, and water source, so every zone works together as a complete system.

Fed by city water or an irrigation well. We design for either source, and if your property could benefit from its own irrigation well, we can install that too and connect the two as one system.

Smart controllers. Most new systems we install run on a Wi-Fi controller you can adjust from your phone, so a rainy week or a new planting bed is a two-minute change, not a service call.

Low-flow drip lines and emitters for planting beds, containers, and foundation plantings that spray heads overwater.

System upgrades & modernization

Replace aging heads, valves, and controllers on an older system so it covers evenly and stops wasting water.

Spray heads are the wrong tool for a flower bed. They soak leaves, miss the root zone, and stain walls and walkways. Drip lines and point-source emitters put water exactly where the plant takes it up, at a fraction of the flow.

We run drip on its own zone with its own schedule, so your beds and pots get the slow, deep watering they need while the lawn stays on a spray schedule of its own.

Complete Residential Irrigation Repair Services

Many irrigation problems look simple on the surface but are caused by deeper system issues. Fixing one sprinkler head without understanding the underlying cause often leads to repeated service calls. When WaterCare repairs an irrigation system, we evaluate how the entire system is performing, so the repair addresses the real source of the problem.

Head, nozzle, and pressure repairs. Clogged nozzles, broken sprinkler heads, uneven spray patterns, or low pressure can prevent your lawn from receiving proper coverage. We diagnose the cause and restore consistent watering across your property.

Zone, valve, and controller repairs. If zones aren't turning on, valves are leaking, or your controller isn't functioning properly, we identify the issue and restore full system operation.

What Happens During an Irrigation Service Call

When you schedule a service call, our technician performs a full system evaluation to understand how your irrigation system is performing. You get a clear explanation of what we found and what we recommend, with any additional work quoted before it starts.

The service call fee covers the diagnostic evaluation and system inspection. Any repairs or additional services are quoted separately so you can decide how you'd like to proceed.

Irrigation System Maintenance

Water is a valuable resource, and an inefficient irrigation system can waste thousands of gallons each year while quietly increasing your water bill. WaterCare offers quarterly and bi-annual irrigation inspections to keep your system operating efficiently through changing seasons.

During a maintenance visit we inspect and adjust sprinkler heads, check system pressure and coverage, test valves and zones, review controller programming, and look for leaks or inefficiencies. Regular inspections help prevent costly repairs while keeping your lawn properly watered.

Irrigation Installation & Repair Questions, Answered

How much does sprinkler repair cost in Northeast Florida? +
Sprinkler repair cost depends on what is wrong. A single head or nozzle replacement is a minor repair, while valve, wiring, or controller issues involve more diagnostic time. WaterCare performs a full system evaluation during the service call so any additional repairs are quoted clearly before work begins, rather than guessing at a price over the phone.
Why does one zone of my sprinkler system not turn on? +
A zone that will not turn on is usually caused by a failed valve, a wiring break between the controller and the valve, or a programming issue in the controller itself. WaterCare traces the wiring and tests the valve directly rather than replacing parts by guesswork, so the repair addresses the actual cause.
How do I know if my irrigation system is wasting water? +
Signs of water waste include a spiking water bill with no other explanation, standing water or runoff on driveways and sidewalks, and areas of lawn that stay soggy while other areas stay dry. A quarterly or bi-annual inspection catches these inefficiencies early, before they show up as an expensive water bill.
